Key-Factor Strategy of Creative Industry in Distribution Channel: A SWOT Analysis Method

This study aims to: (1) map the creative industries' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in Yogyakarta - Indonesia. The data was collected directly from source, i.e., primary secondary data. SWOT analysis is used to analyze results show (a) strength factors include: availability of human resources, cheaper living cost, as a center culture, tourism, education; (b) weakness low product innovation creativity, 85.9% industry do not have business license, database transparent; (c) opportunity existence community, e-fulfillment (convenience services JNE), friendly logistics (digital marketing, warehousing, order fulfillment, technology development, shipping management, delivery); (d) threat an ASEAN free market, namely Asean Economic Community patents (trademarks). should carry out strategies including development market; market penetration; development; d) integration into future; (e) backward integration; (f) horizontal integration, (g) diversification related products.
